My selective service registration status is:
Answer to this question is required
I am registered with the Selective Service System. I understand my registration will be verified with the Selective Service System database.
I was born a female; therefore, the registration requirement does not apply to me.
I was born a male before December 31, 1959; therefore, the registration requirement does not apply to me.
I meet one of the authorized Selective Service registration exemptions and understand that I will be required to provide verification before I can be employed by TSA.
I am or was a member of the U.S. Armed Forces on active duty; therefore, I am considered compliant with registration requirements. I understand I must provide documentation of my military service, e.g., form DD-214.
I was born a male after December 31, 1959, and did not register for the Selective Service. I am not exempt from the registration requirement. I believe my failure to register with the Selective Service was neither knowing nor willful and request consideration from TSA for a waiver. I recognize that I will be required as part of the evaluation process to provide documentary proof that my failure to register was neither knowing nor willful.
I was aware of my requirement to register with the Selective Service before I turned 26 years old; however, I failed to do so. I understand that I am unable to pursue employment with TSA if I knowingly and willfully failed to register with the Selective Service. (Note: By checking this answer, you will be removed from consideration for this position.)
For Questions 12 through 48, please respond whether or not you have been convicted* of the offense listed within the past 10 years. (Note: By responding "Yes" to any of these, you will be removed from consideration for this position.)
